We gave up everything to have it all.

We live in a van. You can too.

Our hustle.

Jason’s work took him away half the year and we found ourselves trying to maximize every experience together. We decided to save our money in order to give us the freedom to make a change. For us that meant: making a budget (and sticking to it), less trips, less going out to eat, and buying used gear. We packed lunches, repaired torn gear, and when we did have to buy new, always look for a discount.

Our build.

We chose Sportsmobile for our build. We knew we needed something with enough storage for our gear (climbing, skiing, cycling). As our love for skiing increased, we realized we needed 4WD. We chose the 144 wheel base to make sure we could take advantage of the off road capabilities and park in regular parking spaces. The shorter body also made us choose the interior layout carefully.

Our journey.

It all started with and idea. A wish to be together more and spend more time in the places we feel most alive. Our wish turned into a goal and our goal turned into action. We purchased our Sprinter van in March of 2020.
